Bigetron Alpha to Bigetron by Vitality: MLBB Team Recap

Bigetron Alpha was for years the name of Bigetron's main Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team in Indonesia's top league, MPL Indonesia (MPL ID). Many fans still search for it by that name, but the team now plays as Bigetron by Vitality, after a deal with the French organisation Team Vitality in 2025. This page is a dated recap based on Liquipedia's records up to November 2025. Later results are not covered here.

From Bigetron Player Kill to Bigetron Alpha to Vitality

Bigetron is an Indonesian esports organisation, created in 2017. Its MLBB team began on December 26, 2017, with a first roster of Eiduart, Fabiens, Vin, Emperor, Rekt and coffeeguy. Over the years the team has carried three names: Bigetron Player Kill, then Bigetron Alpha, and now Bigetron by Vitality, usually shortened to BTR.

The biggest change came on May 15, 2025. Team Vitality acquired Bigetron Esports, and the MLBB squad was renamed Bigetron by Vitality. The team still competes in MPL ID, and Liquipedia now lists its base as both Indonesia and France.

MPL Indonesia record

The team has been a regular playoff side in MPL ID. Its top placings in Liquipedia's recent results list are:

• Season 5 (April 2020): 4th place.
• Season 6 (October 2020): 3rd place.
• Season 7 (May 2021): 2nd place, losing the grand final 2-4. It was still known as Bigetron Alpha at the time.
• Season 12 (October 2023): 3rd place.
• Season 13 (June 2024): 4th place. The team also won the season's Best Coaching Team award.
• Season 14 (October 2024): 3rd place.
• Season 15 (June 2025): 5th-6th place.
• Season 16 (October 2025): 4th place, after a 0-3 playoff loss to EVOS.

Outside the league, the team finished second at the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA Challenge Finals in July 2023, losing the final 0-4.

Liquipedia puts the team's approximate total MLBB prize money at about $454,000. Older figures that circulate online are higher, but they do not match the current record.

A team that changes often

The roster timeline shows a team that has rebuilt again and again. In 2025 alone, the changes included:

• February: Anavel, Light and E2MAX joined, while Kyy left for EVOS.
• April: Finn returned at roamer, and Tazy joined briefly.
• July: E2MAX, Light and Tazy all left.
• August: Shogun, Nnael and Ronn joined as players, with coaches Bam and Erpang added the next day.
• October: Anavel was moved to inactive and loaned to Rare Atom.

The longest-serving player on the late-2025 roster was Moreno, the mid laner, who joined in July 2022.

The roster as of late 2025

At the end of MPL ID Season 16, the active Bigetron by Vitality roster was:

• Shogun – EXP lane, joined August 2025.
• Nnael – jungler, joined August 2025.
• Ronn – jungler, joined August 2025.
• Moreno – mid lane, joined July 2022.
• EMANN – gold lane, joined February 2024.
• Finn – roamer, rejoined April 2025.

Several of these players were recognised in the Season 16 awards. EMANN and Shogun were named to the season's First Team, Shogun also took Rookie of the Season, and Moreno and Nnael were named to the Second Team. For a team that had added three new players only weeks before the season, that was a strong showing.

What this means for fans

If you are following the team today, search for Bigetron by Vitality or BTR rather than Bigetron Alpha, since league schedules and official pages now use the new name. Because the roster changes so often, check the current line-up on the official MPL ID channels or Liquipedia before reading too much into older results.

For fans who bet on MLBB, roster changes like these are exactly why past placings are a weak guide to the next match. Betting is for adults 21 and over, and no result is certain. For more MLBB and Dota 2 coverage, visit the OKBet Games e-sports section.
