The ONIC name shows up twice at the top of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). There is ONIC in Indonesia's MPL ID league and ONIC Philippines in MPL PH. Both have won major titles recently, which is why fans and bettors often mix them up. This recap looks at what each team achieved between late 2024 and mid-2025, based on official MOONTON announcements.
Rosters and form change quickly in MLBB, so treat this as a snapshot of that period, not a prediction.
ONIC Esports runs its best-known MLBB team in Indonesia. In the Philippines, a team under the ONIC name competes in MPL PH. In late 2024 it played as Fnatic ONIC Philippines (often shortened to FNOP), and by 2025 MOONTON was referring to it as ONIC Philippines.
The two teams play in different leagues. They only meet at international events such as the M-series World Championship or the Mid Season Cup (MSC). When you read odds, news or results, always check which ONIC is meant. The simplest clue is the league name next to the match: MPL ID for the Indonesian team and MPL PH for the Philippine team. At international events, look for the full team name or the country shown beside it.
The biggest recent result for the ONIC name came at the M6 World Championship. According to MOONTON, Fnatic ONIC Philippines beat Team Liquid Indonesia 4–1 in a best-of-seven grand final at Axiata Arena. The grand finals ended on December 14, 2024.
Two details from MOONTON's report stand out:
That second point says a lot about the strength of MPL PH. Philippine teams had won every M-series world title from M2 through M6. For fans following ONIC Esports, the M6 crown put the Philippine side alongside those earlier champions.

In Indonesia, ONIC reached the MPL ID Season 15 grand final against RRQ Hoshi. MOONTON reported that ONIC won the series 4–3. According to the same report, it was ONIC's seventh MPL Indonesia title, the most of any team in the league's history.
MOONTON framed the win as part of Indonesia's push ahead of the Mid Season Cup at the Esports World Cup 2025, a tournament it announced with a USD 3 million prize pool.
Looking at these results together, a few points are clear:
What the record does not tell you is how either team will play in its next match. MLBB teams often change players between seasons, a new patch can change which heroes are strong, and a best-of-three is far less predictable than a best-of-seven final. Past titles are history, not a forecast.
Being a fan and being a bettor are different things. If you choose to bet on MLBB matches involving either ONIC team:
