We were looking at the Adventure Cove Waterpark below the cable car we rode on.
Pig is a popular sign of good luck, yet we have to find a statue of a pig in Singapore. The Flower Dome was impressive artwork, wishing the garden leading to our place would look like colorful (red) roses arranged in a striking manner. It was hard to overlook it. And the nice view of the Marina Bay Sands made us feel that we didn’t make a mistake in spending the final days of the old year here.
We swore that Duncan was pulling our leg, asking us if we had luck in finding a pig. Not yet. We found out that there are other Merlion statues. And all of them could be seen in a day. The Marina Bay Sands never looked better at night time, as we walked back and forth the hanging footbridge connecting the Supertrees. We expected the musical score of “Avatar” to be played at 7 PM, but without luck. And we still haven’t found our pig.
Angelo, our former colleague, was amused when we recounted our Lunar New Year adventure. He got hooked to the casino, and he paid the price. (We won’t elaborate on it.)
