Is PG Soft Circus Delight based on a circus movie? It’s hard to tell. There are tens of movies under this category, and most of these flicks are hardly fun to watch.
“The Saga of Darren Shan” is our favorite series, about a bratty teenager who became a member of a traveling circus. Of vampires. This unexpected turn of events would hurl the titular character into the world of scheming vampires and parallel universes of what could have been.
Think of Arnold Schwarzenegger with fangs! Many horror fans didn’t like the celluloid version of “The Vampire’s Assistant”, the first in the series, but the series is better off in the small screen. Perhaps Darren Shaughnessy’s bestselling books would be given a second chance.
We also enjoyed “The Greatest Show on Earth”, about a traveling circus of A-list stars. And they have loads of problems to deal with. Film buffs wouldn’t expect James Stewart, great actor with a squeaky-clean image, playing a clown with a checkered past.
Last but not the least, Tim Burton’s live-action adaptation of the beloved Disney classic, “Dumbo”, fell quite short of expectations. We wished that the director of “Beetlejuice” and “Edward Scissorhands” would film the sequel to “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”, but the live-action remake was the talk of Tinseltown for years.
PG Soft couldn’t think of any of the above when they decided to bring the circus to the mobile casino slots world. Does PG Soft Circus Delight jump off the mobile screen right away?
