Fishing games are arcade-style casino games where you aim a cannon at fish swimming across the screen. Each fish has a value, and catching it pays that value times your bet. They look and feel like a video game, which is part of their appeal, but they are still gambling games with random outcomes. This guide explains how fishing games work, what the common features do, and how four JILI titles compare.
Most of these games follow the same pattern:
The key point is that hitting a fish is not the same as catching it. A shot can hit a large fish many times without catching it. Whether a hit turns into a catch is decided by the game's random number generator, which is why these games cannot be won through aim or speed alone.
It is tempting to aim only at the largest fish because they pay the most. But larger fish are also harder to catch, so they usually take many shots. Smaller fish are caught more often but pay less. The game balances these against each other.
The practical effect is on your budget. Chasing a boss can use up many shots in a short time. Before targeting one, decide how many shots you are willing to spend on it.
According to JILI's official game pages, its titles add features on top of the basic loop. Here is what four titles list.
Royal Fishing (2019) JILI describes it as an entry-level fishing game. Firing builds up energy, and when the energy bar is full you can trigger a full-screen attack. Several boss fish are available, and defeating the top boss, the Money Dragon King, can activate a multiplier wheel of up to 350x.
Jackpot Fishing (September 2019) This title adds a Jackpot and a Jackpot Wheel. JILI says high-odds fish can appear at any time and may carry a random extra 5x multiplier after capture. Our Jackpot Fishing guide goes into this game in more detail.
Mega Fishing (January 2021) Mega Fishing lists a maximum win of 950x. Its main feature is the Special Octopus Wheel, and it includes special weapons such as torpedoes and a railgun. JILI also mentions giant prize fish with a chance of 5x multipliers.
All-Star Fishing (December 2021) All-Star Fishing lists a maximum win of 1,200x. It brings together several boss characters, including a Naga Boss, along with a Bonus Wheel.
A maximum win is the ceiling for a single result, not something to expect. Most shots in any fishing game catch nothing or catch fish worth less than the cost of the shots spent on them.
Weapons such as torpedoes, railguns and full-screen attacks look powerful, and they can catch several fish at once. Bonus wheels can multiply a catch. These features make the game more exciting to watch, but they are part of the game's built-in maths. They do not change the long-run return of the game in your favour.
Because these games are fast and every shot costs money, they can use up a budget quickly. A few habits help:

They are built to be fun to play, with bright graphics, bosses and wheels. They are not a way to earn money. Every result is random, and the game keeps an edge over time. Real-money play is for adults 21 and over only. Set a budget before you start, stop when it is gone, and never chase losses.
